I'll try again! My computer is NOT cooperating.
My article entitled "Newfoundland, A Place In My Heart" is now posted at the Great Lakes Sea Kayaking Association's website in the "Newsletter" link. Check it out.

OK, I'm a buttinski. I made the link work.
Wendy, your article is a great mix of the philosophical and the technical, similar to Chris Duff's style.
I think there are a lot of folks who will be clamouring for a full-length version!
Glenn
Hi Glenn,
Thanks! The Mac doesn't even show the option to create a link like the PC.
I paddled today! I rolled as well in the cold water at the Pinery. The Epic wing blade is amazing for rolling. Or is the COLD water a real motivator? Hmmm.
Wendy,
If you're using Safari as your Mac web browser, you're right, it doesn't display the same range of options for Blogger as you're used to. Try using Firefox, a free browser you can download and run on your Mac. It has more PC like options available to you. There is nothing wrong with your Mac!

Wendy,
Could you please return my DVD movie about the town on the Lower North Shore? I have a friend who's from there and wants to see it. Thanks!
M
Tremendous achievement - and so enjoyed reading the 10 facts... paddling in Placentia Bay in July I thought about your open crossing!
Alison Dyer
Wendy - It's been a month and more since my request for my DVD to be returned, yet I've received no DVD, no reply note, no call, no explanation, just silence. Is something wrong?
M
OK Wendy, I give up. I can't imagine why you'd want it, but go ahead, keep the DVD. Consider it a gift, I guess. I'll try and find another one.
Isn't this entry the same as the one before it? Or am I missing something?
Wendy,
Is your presentation at the Great Lakes Kayak club meeting for members only or can anyone attend? I'd love to attend if it's open to all. What time is the presentation and do you know of places to stay in that area?
Bill (Ottawa)
Bill, I'm sure that anyone can attend. The presentation starts following dinner, probably around 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. I don't know of places to stay, as I've requested to stay with a GLSKA member. It would be great to meet you. The GLSKA website has all the particulars regarding the meeting on Nov. 18 in Alliston.
Wendy
Looks like I won't be able to attend your GLSKA presentation this weekend unfortunately. Will you be giving it in the Ottawa area this winter? What about Newfoundland presentations? I'm actually from St John's and will be returning home in March or April.
Bill (Ottawa)
